We’ll focus on making larger and more complex forms such as tall vases, wide bowls, and serving platters. You’ll also be introduced to advanced techniques including closed forms, altering thrown pieces, assembling multi-part pots, and incorporating hand-building elements into wheel-thrown work. Throughout the session, we’ll explore:     •    Throwing with more clay to make bigger pieces     •    Controlling shape and proportion     •    Refining technique and consistency     •    Surface design ideas and finishing touches This class encourages creative exploration while strengthening your foundational skills. It’s ideal for those looking to expand their practice and challenge themselves with new forms and techniques. Please note: – No refunds. One make-up class may be arranged with advance notice. – By signing up for this course, you agree to the studio policies and consent to photographs being taken of your work for promotional purposes
